ESOL Support

 

Whangarei Primary is a multicultural school with children of many different nationalities. We provide specialist support for students who are new to New Zealand and for whom English is not their first language. The support comes in the form of small group work with our dedicated ESOL teacher who provides rich experiences for the children so that they can learn and practise English in a variety of fun and engaging contexts. Whether they are short term visiting International students or recent immigrants making a new home in Aotearoa, Whangarei Primary provides support so that children can thrive in their new learning environment.
