I have just heard that teachers will not be striking on Wednesday 31 May and so Whangarei Primary School will be open for instruction. It is looking likely that teachers will be required to meet on Wednesday afternoon for a Paid Union Meeting, and I will send out further details about these arrangements once I know more. Please be aware that this may mean that school will close early on Wednesday this week.
I apologise for the lack of details provided - we can only work with what we are given. The WPSSA Year 5/6 sports afternoon is looking in jeopardy also and I will be able to provide more information about whether this event will go ahead or not tomorrow.
