We need to urgently raise a large sum of money for the repair of our swimming pool.

The Board of Trustees are determined to ensure that the pool is fully operational by next summer, so we have a mighty target ahead of us. A Givealittle page has been set up to help our fundraising efforts.

A fundraising committee has been created by our Board of Trustees, and led by Renee Proctor and Dallas Wrack. The committee’s first meeting will take place in the school staffroom on Wednesday 20th February at 2.15pm.

Everyone interested in helping our fundraising efforts is most welcome to attend.

15 March Update

To date, all of the old concrete has been lifted and disposed of due to the cracks and brittle nature of the concrete. Trenches dug to lay new pipes in them. The water pipes are a significantly larger diameter than was previously connected to the pool. Once the pipes were laid and connected to the pool, they were pressure tested to check that they are leak proof. Today, new concrete was poured so that we have new pavng areas. A new roof was put on the covered seating area. The roof was also widened to provide more shade

Donor Recognition Scheme

By joining one of our donor recognition schemes you will forever be part of the history and story of the new pool.

$500 for 2 months

Branded signs on the Bank Street fence

The signs are 2400 x 1200 and will be placed along the front fence on bank street. The advertising will be restricted to 1 business from each industry. There will only be 11 promotional signs available. The $500 covers the cost of the art work and also producing the corflute. This will secure you a place for 2 months with the option to purchase for longer.

Dorothy (former student)

A past pupil named Dorothy attended our school in 1925. She is 100 years old in a couple of months’ time. Dorothy drove herself to the school to make the donation. She told a story of how she almost drowned when she first swam in the pool, as she tried to complete a length. The headmaster had to reach out and save her.
